# Public asset index

```
GET https://www.stonkfun.xyz/api/public/total-assets
```

A flat index of every token the platform has launched, built for exchanges, aggregators and explorers.

It needs no authentication, CORS is open to any origin, and it is cacheable for a minute at the edge. It predates the versioned API and is not going anywhere.

## Parameters

| Query    | Default  | Notes                                                                                                  |
| -------- | -------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| `limit`  | `500`    | Capped at 1000                                                                                         |
| `offset` | `0`      | Page through with `pagination.hasMore`                                                                 |
| `order` | `oldest` | `oldest` appends new launches at the end, so a paged crawl is stable. `newest` is for reading by hand. |

```bash
curl https://www.stonkfun.xyz/api/public/total-assets
curl 'https://www.stonkfun.xyz/api/public/total-assets?limit=100&offset=100'
```

## Each entry carries

| Field                         | Meaning                   |
| ----------------------------- | ------------------------- |
| `address`                     | SPL mint                  |
| `name`                        | Token name                |
| `symbol`                      | Token symbol              |
| `decimals`                    | Token decimals            |
| `logoUrl`                     | Absolute logo URL         |
| `url`                         | Absolute token-page URL   |
| `pool`                        | The pool address          |
| `quoteMint` and `quoteSymbol` | What it is paired against |
| `creator`                     | Creator wallet            |
| `createdAt`                   | Launch timestamp          |

The response also carries `platform.logoUrl`, which is the platform logo an integrator should display.

Tokens an admin has hidden are excluded, exactly as they are from the browse grid.

## Identity, not market data

This endpoint describes the identity of each asset rather than its market. Price, market cap and volume live on [`GET /tokens`](/stonkfun-docs/developer-api/data-endpoints.md), which reads the chain and is far more expensive to poll.

That split is the point: this endpoint is cheap enough to crawl on a schedule.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://stonkfun.gitbook.io/stonkfun-docs/developer-api/total-assets.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
